Blending teenage angst with burgeoning superpowers, I Am Not Okay with This is based on another graphic novel by Charles Forsman. This series follows Sydney Novak, a high schooler dealing with typical adolescent issues – family drama, budding sexuality, navigating friendships – all while discovering she has telekinetic abilities. The show has a distinct, slightly retro aesthetic and features strong performances from its young cast, including Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, who previously starred together in It.
