It was one of Netflix's very first original series, signaling a major shift in how television was produced and consumed. The show is saturated with themes of power, corruption, and the lengths people will go to achieve their goals, often blurring the lines between personal desire and political gain. And yes, the element of sex is interwoven, often used as a tool or a consequence of their relentless drive.
