The cast is stacked – Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Tom Waits all bring their unique brilliance. Did you know that the character of Hans, played by Christopher Walken, was partly inspired by McDonagh's own fascination with Buddhist philosophy? The film gleefully deconstructs classic gangster movie tropes while delivering laugh-out-loud moments and surprisingly poignant character beats. It's a clever, unpredictable, and highly entertaining puzzle box of a film.
